Explainpaper

Good fit for

People who need help unpacking jargon or specific difficult passages rather than drafting a full paper.

Why consider it

The official pages document complexity-adjustable explanations, paper questions, summaries and paid explanations of figures, graphs and equations.

Main limitations

Advanced models, whole-paper insights and visual explanations are paid features. Free highlights do not imply that every chat feature is free. The seven-day Pro trial requires a card according to the homepage; review renewal terms. Explanations can be wrong and need source checking.

Cost and access

An ongoing Free tier and paid Pro plan are documented separately from the temporary Pro trial. Exact prices and allowances should be checked before subscribing.

Getting started

Upload a paper and try a highlighted passage first. Choose an explanation level and verify it against definitions and the paper’s methods.
