Requires retrieval software and the documented prompt format for grounded generation. It does not fetch sources on its own, so Web Search and File Uploads are unassigned. Runtime metadata and provider use different parameter-count conventions; the title follows the published tag, not a new count claim. It is an older release, not a current flagship. Noncommercial/non-production restrictions apply.

Cost and access

No hosted subscription for the local package within its permitted uses; hardware and electricity remain your responsibility. CC BY-NC 4.0 with additional acceptable-use requirements. Noncommercial only under those terms; do not treat the local download as unrestricted business use.

Getting started

Install a compatible Ollama version, review the license, then run: ollama run command-r:35b. API means the runtime-provided local API, not a hosted endpoint.
