Developers who want Claude to inspect a codebase, make changes, run tests and return reviewable work.
The product page explicitly documents macOS/Linux/Windows, terminal and IDE workflows, browser access, repository analysis and command execution.
The local terminal client communicates with model APIs; it is not a downloadable local Claude model. Self-hosted execution environments do not change that distinction. Permission and auto-mode behavior vary by configuration; do not assume every command always gets an individual prompt. Review diffs and credentials carefully.
Access is documented through paid Claude plans or a Claude Console account billed at API rates. Plan-specific usage limits and taxes apply. This is not the same listing as the general Claude assistant.
Install through the official docs, sign in with the appropriate plan or Console account and begin in a trusted repository with a scoped task. Review the resulting changes and tests.
